AAP at Our Table: Running a Not-For-Profit on Top of Your 9-5 (w/ Michelle Lim)

EPISODE 26 — 19 NOVEMBER 2022

You need to take a hard look at yourself to figure out what are you actually advocating for. Because I can’t advocate for the end of discrimination against Asian Australians if Asians are still discriminating against each other. There’s a lot of work in our community to be done because of that.
— Michelle

ABOUT AAP

The Asian Australian Project (AAP) is a not-for-profit initiative run by and for young Asian-Australians and more broadly, Asians Between Cultures (ABCs): those who grow up sharing cultural influences from both the East and the West.

Living in a multicultural society like Australia is a unique and often confusing experience for many ABCs. AAP wants to help facilitate their journey in growing their awareness and understanding of the nuances of these unique cultural experiences while nurturing a surrounding network and community.
